MyGk suggested that we make our own Easter egg hunt for our 2 daughters in the house, so i happily agreed. We went to FAIRPRICE in Bukit Pajang Plaza to buy some eggs as well as Kinder's Egg surprise. After grocery, we waited for our kids to sleep for this will be a surprise before we started working on our eggs. Below are the steps on how we created our own Easter eggs.
So after hearing mass, we went straight home and told our 2 daughters that we have hidden 12 eggs and for each egg they will find, Papa and mum will replace it with Kinder's surprise eggs (they are both crazy with)... The 2 gurls where really excited and begin searching for the eggs. After the last egg was found, they both tied with 6 each. They are so excited with their prize. Then we let them watch HOP which is a 2011 American Easter-themed live-action/computer-animated comedy film about a rabbit who does not want to succeed his father, Mr. Bunny, in the role of the Easter Bunny.
So that's how we celebrate Easter 2015...
- Hard boil the eggs
- In a bowl combine 1 cup of boiling water and 1 tablespoon vinegar
- Add 20 drops of food coloring(depends on the color you choose)
- Dip hard boiled egg into the bowl for 5-10 minutes
- Use tongs and spoon to remove the egg from the bowl
- Let it dry, we used the egg tray for this.
- Repeat Steps 2-6 You can use different colors to make the eggs look vibrant and colorful
- After drying, hide the eggs anywhere in the house (cabinets, table, corners...)
